What to know about Amouage.

Amouage was founded in 1983 by Sultan Qaboos bin Said as a gift to the world: a return to perfumery without compromise, built on the finest Omani frankincense, Mysore sandalwood, Ta'if rose and silver Hojari oud. Every bottle is filled in Oman.

The house works with the most decorated perfumers in the world — Christopher Chong, Maurice Roucel, Karine Vinchon-Spehner — and refuses to dilute or shortcut. A single Amouage extrait can contain more raw material value than ten high-street perfumes combined.
