What to know about Nishane.
Nishane was founded in Istanbul in 2012 by Mert Güzel and Murat Katran, making it the first Turkish niche perfume house to win serious international distribution. The compositions are built at extrait strength and lean into Turkish raw materials — Anatolian rose, Isparta rose, oud, tobacco, fig — interpreted with European craftsmanship.
Hacivat — pineapple, bergamot, oakmoss, patchouli — became a sleeper hit in the late 2010s and is now one of the most cross-recommended niche masculines on the planet. Ani, Wulong Cha and Fan Your Flames have built equally loyal followings.
