02 · Formation

Born in Cannes, France, Harry Frémont's early immersion in a region synonymous with perfumery ignited his vocation. He subsequently honed his craft at the esteemed ISIPCA in Versailles, a foundational step in his journey to becoming a master perfumer. Joining Firmenich, one of the foremost fragrance and flavour companies, Frémont's talent was quickly recognised. He spent three years at the company's Swiss headquarters before relocating to their New York facilities in 1987, establishing a transatlantic career.

Throughout his tenure at Firmenich, Frémont has been instrumental in developing olfactory creations for an array of prestigious international brands, from Calvin Klein to Ralph Lauren and Estée Lauder. His works are often characterised by an imaginative fusion of notes, resulting in diverse and frequently unexpected scent profiles. His contributions to the industry were celebrated with the Fragrance Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017, acknowledging a significant and enduring legacy in modern perfumery.

He was awarded the prestigious Societe Technique Des Parfumeurs de France award in both 1984 and 1985. Kenneth Cole Black won a Fifi Award in 2004 for Men's Fragrance of the Year. Juicy Couture won a Fifi Award in 2007 for Women's Luxe Fragrance of the Year. In 2017, Fremont was honored with the Fragrance Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the fragrance industry.
