02 · Formation
Born in France, Karine Vinchon Spehner's formative years in Normandy profoundly influenced her olfactive sensibility. Early encounters with the aromas of her grandfather's confectionery and the region's abundant fruit orchards ignited an enduring passion for scent. This personal journey led her to formal training at ISIPCA, the renowned perfumery school in Versailles, where she honed her technical skills and artistic vision.
03 · Practice
Following her education, Ms. Vinchon Spehner commenced her career at Robertet, the prestigious fragrance house. During her time there, she was mentored by master perfumer Michel Almairac, an experience that shaped her professional approach. She has since contributed her talents to a diverse array of brands, including Amouage and L'Artisan Parfumeur, becoming recognised for her adept use of natural raw ingredients, with a particular inclination towards rich amber and sophisticated woody notes.
