Born and raised in France, Sophie Labbé developed an early appreciation for the sophisticated interplay of aromas found in both urban settings and rural landscapes. Her academic journey initially led her to a concentration in chemistry before an undeniable fascination with scent composition guided her towards a career in fragrance. She subsequently enrolled at ISIPCA, the esteemed perfumery school in Versailles, where her innate talent was cultivated and refined through rigorous training.

Following her graduation, Labbé commenced her professional life at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), dedicating over twenty years to developing a diverse portfolio of successful perfumes. Her distinctive approach, marked by a reverence for natural ingredients and a pursuit of harmonious compositions, has earned her considerable acclaim. Today, as a Principal Perfumer at Firmenich, she continues to craft fragrances that resonate with a timeless elegance, often reflecting her enduring passion for the botanical world.
